Ella is a beautiful small town in the Badulla District, Sri Lanka. It is approximately 200 kilometers east of Colombo and is situated at 1,041 meters above sea level. The area has such a rich bio-diversity, dense with numerous varieties of beautiful flora and fauna.
The beautiful town of Ella has to be one of the most picturesque views in Sri Lanka. Aside from the incredible nature that amazes travelers worldwide, the town has an entertaining atmosphere with great cafes and restaurants. Ella is a favorite among day hikers and more experienced trekkers alike. The two famous treks in the area are Little Adam’s Peak and Ella Rock, not to mention Ravana Falls and other famous waterfalls in the area.
